The Oregon State University Energy Efficiency Center and Industrial Training and Assessment Center (OSU EEC/ITAC) is always looking for engineering and science students with a passion for problem solving and a desire to learn about various different industries. Students involved with the EEC/ITAC gain the skills and abilities needed to succeed in today's high-demand, fast paced energy industry.
The Oregon State University Energy Efficiency Center and Industrial Training and Assessment Center (OSU EEC/ITAC) offers small and medium-sized manufacturers, agricultural producers, municipal facilities, university facilities and others on-site assessments. Student teams led by engineering faculty visit Northwest sites to seek ways to increase profits by increasing productivity and reducing energy use and waste. Within 60 days, the EEC sends a report to the client with analysis and specific recommendations to improve efficiency.
