In early 2010, the Oregon State University Energy Efficiency Center adopted a practice of developing system organized energy saving opportunities to help industries easily identify and quantify potential energy savings available to them.  Systems have been broken down according to the Assessment Recommendation Code (ARC) system developed by the Center for Advanced Energy Systems at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey.
